Purpose Statement: Responsible to develop and sustain the inspection programs for available AOI, X-Ray and other optical inspection test platforms; perform equipment maintenance, monitor performance and yield information and provide technical support to manufacturing.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Support monitoring and continuous improvement of yield (dpmo), inspection efficiency (escapes) and effectiveness (false calls/NDFs) data.
- Support implementation of ECOs and continuous improvement/cost down activities.

Develop, implement and optimize optical inspection test programs.- Perform preventive/reactive maintenance (including system calibration).
- Provide first level support for manufacturing in optical inspection systems related matters.
Additional Accountabilities:
- Support root cause analysis for both optical inspection system and product failures.
- Support test program acceptance.
- Support development of SFTs, ABIs, or other training to support the operation of the equipment by operators or other technicians.
- Support of Test Engineers.
- Support of CFTs.
- Acknowledges and complies with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards provided in the procedures and instructions that are specific to each field, documentation that underlies the proper functioning of the integrated management system of quality, environment, safety and occupational health.

Education/Experience Qualifications:
- A minimum of an Associate’s degree is required.
- 1 years of related experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

- Able to support and respond to challenging build schedules (flexibility).
- Strong diagnostics skills are expected.
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate decision making and problem solving.
- Basic teamwork.
Work Environment:
- The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
