Mission

In an agile environment, as a Feature Engineer in the Payments Tribe you will be responsible for translating the business requirements into complex functional and non-functional specifications.
Together with your team you will work on identifying and extracting relevant data from various sources, cleaning and processing it, and transforming it into efficient and straight forward solutions.
The projects you will be in charge are complex so experience in the banking sector is considered a plus.


Your day to day

  • Translate business requirements into technical design solutions, ensuring the granularity of an epic/feature/user story level.
  • Analyse impact of business requirements on the existing systems/implementations and overall IT environment.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, being the main facilitator when clarifications and new requirements are being presented/discussed.
  • Take part in the refinement process of the requirements to ensure they appropriate for the squad to deliver within a sprint(two-week interval).
  • Provide support for the team during the development phase in order to deliver the best technical solution.
  • Build and execute the functional testing strategy in order to fulfil the acceptance criteria. Provides relevant testing documentation(test suites, test cases).
  • Participate in demo sessions.
  • Troubleshoot errors, identifies solutions, or redirects them further.


What you bring to the team

  • A relevant Bachelor/Master's degree, preferably in software engineering-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience as a Technical analyst/Feature Engineer.
  • Professional, excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset, analytical skills and team player attitude.
  • Practical knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Familiar with XML, XSD, JSON, WSDL, JSON Schema.
  • Experience working with REST/SOAP API's.
  • Experience in working with MQ integration processes.
  • Familiar with relational database concepts.
  • Proficient in collaborative tools like Confluence/Jira.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of microservices - considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of creating swagger files - considered a plus.
