Business Admin Support


 
Colt provides network, voice and data centre services to thousands of businesses around the world, allowing them to focus on delivering their business goals instead of the underlying infrastructure.
Role purpose and key accountabilities
The SSC Business Admin Support (BAS) team work with the local Service Delivery teams. The BAS team are responsible do deal with all sorts of administrative tasks:
Create PR’s, PO’s and receipt material or services in line with corporate rules;
Deal with legal / regulatory queries (assist and provide all necessary information in relation to these requests)
Archive and manage all documentation with regards to local infrastructure (e.g. subnode contracts)
Initiate One-time payment - out of process invoicing
Provide support and solve queries with suppliers and Colt’s central finance team on urgent payments, disputes, fines, registered letters;
Supplier activation support
Initiate and follow-up on “Damage claims”
Create a damage case by assembling all necessary information, send out official communication towards the insurance companies, follow up all non-closed damages cases (short-term/long-term) and take this up with legal (internally/externally) if required;
Follow up the financial impact and renversements and make sure of the correct bookings of these
Essential requirements
Great team player and excellent social interaction skills are mandatory in this central and coordinating role. Due to its nature with a lot of communication with other teams and departments within the company but also externally with all necessary parties (governments, financial departments, financial institutions, suppliers, landlords, property agencies, …) in a positive and cooperative manner.
Good understanding of the basics of accounting is essential
Problem solved oriented, must be able to work under strict timelines with several priorities at the same time
Personal drive, highly self-motivated, structured and self-organised
Hands-on approach: ownership in every way is essential in reaction to various issues (known and unknown)
Builds effective relationships with other team members and key stakeholders such as internal customers and suppliers
Fluent in German, English (reading, speaking, listening and writing)
