What we are looking for?
We are currently seeking a Team Lead to join our Tax Technology Support Team, who:
Has mininum 2-3 years of experience working with projects using programming language: preferred Spring Expression Language (SpEL) or Java/python/SQL; if the projects were in tax or finance area, its an advantage
Have experience in using and create projects using PowerBI (preferred) or similar tools
Has interest in working in projects for tax area, especially in SAF-t
Has a good understanding of how technology and accounting/taxation can work together in the current environment
Desired: has experience in working with SAP
Has very good knowledge of English (writing, speaking and listening)
Has good command of the MS Office package: (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
Assign tasks to team members and monitors workload, schedule the work and ensures deadlines are met
Provide coaching to the team and motivates team members
Review the work done by team members, documented in specified excel templates
Being accountable for the quality of the team’s deliverables
Training new staff, as well as existing staff on various work related matters
Your role
- Depending on your unique skills and aspirations, you could be supporting various client projects, from assisting in the delivery of the current technology driven engagements, to design of the new digital solutions, or testing and implementing third-party tax applications.
- Our team, equipped with both business and IT expertise, will be there to provide you with support. We have designed a personalized on-the-job training program to help you get accustomed to the latest tax reporting regulations, EY's approach, and our current tools.
- As a member of our Tax Technology Team, you will play an essential role in establishing connections and building relationships with clients, other EY departments, and the broader business community.
- In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will work closely with Romanian tax laws and SAF-T regulations, applying them practically in your work.
- The level of ownership of assigned tasks will vary based on the position, with some positions requiring you to take full responsibility. In addition, you may become the primary point of contact for our clients, and utilize the knowledge you've acquired through training and on-the-job experience to address their inquiries.
