Manage a portfolio of customers for accounts receivable specific activities- Accurately investigate, clarify and allocate incoming payments
- Initiate communication via e-mail with the customers to ensure maintenance of their accounts
- Perform posting of invoices, recurring bookings, write-offs and individual allowances
- Ensure timely and accurately direct debit process, including SEPA mandates activation and clarification of return direct debits
- Assist with month-end closing activities
- Execute and document internal controls as per the agreed SLAs and internal procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service quality
- Support performance and process reviews for internal and external customers by providing root cause analysis and preventive action plans
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role would be a plus
- Previous experience in working with ERP, preferably SAP FI module, is a plus
- Advanced English level (min B2)
- Advanced German level (min B2)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook etc.)
- Customer orientation
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proactive and able to work with tight deadlines
- Strong attention to details, numeracy and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, reliable and results-oriented.
