The Director of Alliance Management and Commercial Planning has a key role within Medisons’ success as you will orchestrate the successful collaboration with Medison partners (Alliance Management) while acting as a brand planning champion (Brand Planning) and driving key marketing initiatives.

Successful Partnerships are essential in Medisons’ rapid expansion and as the Alliance lead for one or more partners, you will ensure a seamless and added-value collaboration. You will drive partner related interactions and activities throughout all steps of the life cycle management, starting with the onboarding/transition and providing coordination, communication, expertise and governance, driving partner related interactions and activities to ensure the ONE-Medison experience for our partners. By combining Alliance Management with brand planning, the Alliance lead provides strategic perspective in the collaboration.

You will further drive the One Medison Integrated Brand Plan Approach by ensuring overall support to the implementation of the methodology and being the One Medison Integrated Brand Plan champion for specific partner brands, allowing strategic focus, growth readiness, economies of scale and increased value for the partners.

You will lead key marketing initiatives for the markets, driving the brands he is championing, and providing overall added-value.

The Director of Alliance Management and Commercial Planning will report to the Head of Commercial Planning, Marketing and Alliance Management.


Requirements:
  • Advanced Degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, MBA or similar field
  • Requires an experienced Marketing Manager with at least 10 years in Pharma and similar role.
  • Ideally worked in Oncology, Rare Diseases, or highly innovative therapies and understands the role of the virtual communication and digital transformation.
  • Previous experience as Alliance Lead is preferred.
  • Experience with technical operations is an upside.
  • Previous experience of product launches, commercial planning across markets and cross function coordination
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate to both internal and a variety of external customers.
  • Good analyst with capability to summarize, develop and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Project management skills and good financial understanding.
  • Mobile, willing to travel as needed.
  • Highly collaborative and team spirited.

  • Fluent English is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Alliance Lead for one or several partners, ensuring the overall coordination of the interactions with the partner, providing support to internal commercialization, enabling functions and providing value to partners.
  • Ensures smooth implementation of the One Medison Commercial Planning approach by working closely with, Country Managers, Business Unit Heads, and external Partners to establish excellence in commercial planning and timely execution in the countries.
  • Designs and develops supporting materials.
  • One Medison Integrated Brand Champion for one or more partner assets and provides guidance and support to the markets.
  • Partners with Medical, Regulatory and/or other functions to optimize the brand performance and deliver one cross functional plan/partner.
  • Responsible for strategy, design and implementation of marketing and commercial excellence initiatives
  • Adjusts and develops in coordination with the Partners and the countries the brand plans and ensures their implementation through all available channels (events, printed materials, digital materials, web-platforms, etc) and checks their effectiveness.
  • Establishes, develops, and manages collaborative relationships with key external stakeholders and vendors.
  • Coordinates competitive intelligence and market intelligence and drives competitive action plans and market intelligence initiatives.
  • Identifies business opportunities and develops business cases ensuring an agile approach to planning and execution
