The job
As a purchaser in the aerospace and defense industry, you will be the focal point of combining the knowledge throughout our organization to ensure deliveries on time. This responsibility requires detail orientation but will open for the ever-changing environment in a high-tech company delivering critical infrastructure to the entire world.
Our industry demands an understanding of sense of urgency where relationships with both internal and external stakeholders are essential. We strive to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure evaluations of all possibilities when facing obstacles. This enables a great environment for swift decision-making while ensuring that you will be challenge according to your needs.
In your daily work you will handling purchase orders, quality issues and support our sourcing team in negotiating agreements. Furthermore, you will be working on our ambitious compliance programs to ensure that we reach our CSR targets.
We work in the Supply Chain and Quality Organization and is composed of 10+ highly engaged diverse colleagues focusing on procurement. We are the backbone in ensuring that Terma Group’s growth targets can be met.
How to succeed in this position?
We expect (or hope) you have:
- Experience with operational procurement activities including external communication.
- Knowledge and understanding of navigating an ERP system.
- A sense of urgency and willingness to act swiftly when obstacles occur.
