Marketing & Communication Officer

 

Aufgaben

This is an all-round position in which you support the management insetting up and implementing the marketing and communication strategy within Strabag Romania and Bulgaria, both online and offline, internally, and externally. Bearing in mind the corporate communication guidelines, you create and convey the local marketing content and, where possible, develop other initiatives.
The location of this position is the office in Bucharest Romania, however it is expected that you will regularly visiting projects and co-working with other business units & locations. In this position, you will report to the Commercial Director and work closely with the People & Culture department.

Main duties:

• Supporting the management in the internal & external communication and marketing strategy as well as their implementation and adaptation to the local business environment;
• Constant exchange with the centralized corporate communication group in Austria and Germany;
• Managing the internal and external websites, LinkedIn & other social media channels, gathering content in consultation with the management of the regional offices and P&C team;
• Close collaboration with People & Culture team concerning the employer branding activities;
• Writing, conceiving, and composing appealing content for various communication channels (e.g., social media, website, newsletter, brochures, etc.);
• Organize and/or participate in events such as job/trade fairs, network meetings, company indoor/outdoor events, open days, project visits, etc.;
• Monitoring & reporting of marketing and sponsorship budget;
• Supervision of ordering, and developing marketing and promotional materials in accordance with corporate guidelines;
  Interface with external marketing partners;
Monitoring the STRABAG local brands, as well as the application of the overall corporate identity.

Qualifikationen

Within this position, you will have the scope to actively participate in setting up and implementing the marketing and communication strategy within the construction business in Romania and Bulgaria. Experience within Marketing and Communication is therefore definitely required. Furthermore, we consider important that you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Communication (preferably);
• 5 years experience in Corporate Marketing and/or Communication;
• Sound knowledge of social media channels;
• Proactive & creative thinking, with a high level of responsibility, independent and structured way of working;
• Good experience in content creation and storytelling;
• Excellent social & communication skills;
• Very good communication skills in Romanian and English. German is a plus;
• Good command of specific software and tools, and you are confident in working with MS Office;
• Availability for business trips.
