Here, your primary task will be to manage the SCADA and protection systemsproject scope of HV substations for largeoffshore windfarms, PtX and energy transmission projects with the support ofour technical managers and engineers.
Inaddition to serving theDanish energy market, Siemens Energy in Denmark houses our global competencecentre for deliveries of complete offshore high-voltage and SCADA systems that make it possible to connect offshorewind farms to the onshore transmission system. Our customers are international and are typically theowners of offshore windfarms, shipyards/fabricators or EPCs that supply complete offshore substations.

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’sdegree in electrical, automation engineering or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in project management of SCADA systems for the transmission industry.
- Experience in working with various types of EPCI contracts e.g. FIDIC.
- Commercial understanding andability to ‘translate’ technical information into commercial impact.
- Customer focused and motivated to work acrossdifferent cultures in an international environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsfor co-working with colleagues and stakeholders with various professionalbackgrounds.
- Flexible and able to lead technical subjectexperts in protection, control and measurement.
- Mastering the English language. Other languages areconsidered as an advantage.
- PMP or IPMA certification is considered as anadvantage.
- Having advanced IT skills.
How You'll Make an Impact
You will lead the SCADA andprotection project scope during the execution of electrical substationprojects within offshore wind and energy transmission sector. Your involvement inthe project starts during the tender phase and it continues all the way throughexecution until the projects is handed over to Services (Operations).
In Siemens Energy, projects could last from one to several years and you will lead one or more projectsdepending on the complexity and volume of the projects.
A project team usually consists of project managers,technical project managers, contract managers, QHSE managers, projectcommercial controllers, engineers etc. who are either located in Denmark orglobally in different Siemens Energy entities. Besides the project team, you willhave a close collaboration with our ProjectManagement Office (PMO), tender management department, as well as finance and procurementfunctions.
Focusareas
- Project management with fullresponsibility for operational performance of project’s SCADA scope.
- Monitoring and controlling of contractual, commercial,and technical SCADA andprotection project related topics.
- Engagement and project team leadership to ensureproject success by utilizing team members abilities.
- Overall planning and coordination onshore and offshore testingactivities related to protection, control and measurement systems.
- Participation in defining sourcing strategies of engineering resourcesand SCADA systems’ components.
- Cooperation with strategic purchasing and contract management for 3rdparty deliveries in the project.
- Preparation and presentation of decision-makingmaterial for the OverallProject Manager.
- Direct communication with customers andsub-contractors.
