Photogrammetry Specialist - Remote - Romania

Photogrammetry Specialist

Job Description: Client is developing computer vision software employed in world leader companies for autonomous drone flight, 3D reconstruction technology, and virtual reality.
The client team combines deep expertise in photogrammetry and artificial intelligence. About the role: The core of our computer vision algorithms closes the gap between computers and the real world, by allowing them to see and understand real scenes in a 3D representation. You architect and implement the algorithms that run on drones, robots, phones and virtual reality devices as part of a world class computer vision team that has pushed the state of the art in academia and industry. As part of our core software development team, you will assume direct ownership of a project that meaningfully advances the capabilities of our algorithms and products. If you have strong foundation in analytical math, geometry, software development and experience in image-formation/rendering algorithms, and you are interested in directly contributing to the development of next generation 3D computer vision algorithms and pushing them into real products, we would love to hear from you. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and innovative software engineer / researcher with expertise in photogrammetry to join our team. As a Photogrammetry Specialist, you will be responsible for improving existing algorithms, innovate and create new approaches by keeping up to date with the literature in the field and brainstorming with our team. Your work will contribute to creating fast and accurate 3D reconstructions, realistic and immersive environments for engineering and simulation applications, multimedia and virtual reality applications, gaming and entertainment applications.
